On 11th February 2021 will take place the final conference of the development cooperation project "ROCHEMP-ARMENIA: CREATION OF A REGIONAL CENTER FOR THE MANAGEMENT, CONSERVATION AND ENHANCEMENT OF CULTURAL HERITAGE", developed by Alma Mater Studiorum University of Bologna and the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sport of the Republic of Armenia, with the support of AICS - Italian Agency for Development Cooperation.
The initiative, launched in 2019, provided for the transfer of specific skills for care, management and enhancement of cultural heritage, through the creation of an office as reference point and support for Local Authorities and local and international scholars and professionals in the field of Cultural Heritage.
Through dedicated activities to increasing knowledge and skills of the experts of the Center on five strategic areas (Management, Training, Regulations, Communication, Regional Hub), the project involved teachers and researchers from Department of Cultural Heritage (project leader), Department of Architecture, Department of History Cultures and Civilization and from the Center for
Advanced Studies on Tourism of Alma Mater Studiorum University of Bologna, in a fruitful and constructive cultural exchange with scholars, professionals and local and international experts.
The event will be an important moment for dialogue and reflections on the approaches and solutions proposed for the conservation, management and enhancement of the immense Armenian cultural heritage.
The final conference of the “ROCHEMP-ARMENIA: CREATION OF A REGIONAL CENTER FOR THE MANAGEMENT, CONSERVATION AND ENHANCEMENT OF CULTURAL HERITAGE” will take place in virtual mode with free access through registration.
